Oats and raw banana patties

This is just amazing healthy recipe if you are on the lookout for some easy vegetarian recipes, then you will definitely love this oats beetroot patties.




These healthy patties are crispy on the outside and soft inside , stuffed with cashew nuts  and raisins. Healthy combination of oats, beetroots , raw banana , coconut powder , roasted peanuts and added chat masala to enhance the Indian flavour is delicious. 



These r not deep fried , I have used only few teaspoons of oil. And most amazing part of this recipe is that it can be an excellent finger food for fussy toddlers, a healthy appetiser or a tea time snack and of course we can use them as patties for burgers or serve as starters during parties . 



Ingredients:

2-3 raw bananas , boiled 
1 beetroot, boiled
1 cup oats , roasted and  powdered 
4 tablespoons coconut powder
2 tablespoons roasted peanuts 
2 -3 tablespoons white sesame seeds for coating 
Salt to taste 
1 teaspoon Red chilli  powder 
1 tablespoon chat masala 
2-3 tablespoons cooking oil for shallow fry. 

3-4 tablespoons cashew nuts and raisins , chopped for stuffing.

Method : 

Remove the skin of boiled raw bananas and boiled beetroot. 

Mashed it properly in a medium size bowl. Add powdered oats, coconut powder, roasted peanuts, salt , red chilies li powder , chat masala. Mix it well, add more powered oats if mixture is sticky. 

Make patties out of this mixture , stuffed with chopped cashew nuts and raisins and coated with white sesame seeds. 

Heat a pan over medium flame and  shallow fry it .
